What is the deadline to register?

Online Registration closes Friday, November 10 at 8:00pm PST. Registration is available for the Half Marathon and Team Relay Competition at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, November 6. There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

How can I verify if I am registered?

After you've registered, you should receive an email confirmation from Active.com. If you did not receive an email (check spam!) you can visit the Active.com My Events Page. If you do not have an Active.com account yet, you will need to create

Can I transfer my Half-Marathon registration to someone else?

From the Active.com My Events Page you may transfer your registration to another person. Additional processing fees may apply. You may not do so with the Half Marathon Relay.

Are refunds available?

We have a strict no refund policy; however you can protect your race registration fee by purchasing Registration Protector for just $7 through Allianz Global Assistance. Simply add this option to your cart as you are registering for our event through Active.com. Click here to view all of the covered reasons that would qualify you for a full registration refund.

If you purchased insurance and need a refund, please contact Allianz Global Assistance directly at (888) 497-6989 to make a claim or visit their website. You can also call (888) 497-6987 for general customer service questions. Unfortunately we cannot help you with any claims as they are all managed through Allianz.

If you do not remember if you purchased insurance or not, check your emails for a separate confirmation from Allianz, or check your credit card statement for the $7 line item near your registration fee with ACTIVE.

What happens if I am unable to participate but want my t-shirt?

You are welcome to pick up your packet and receive your participation t-shirt at the Packet Pick-Up on November 11.

Where and when can I pick up my race packet?

Race packets will be available at the Packet Pick-Up Friday, November 11, 2016 from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Location TBD. More information can be found on our Expo page.

Is it mandatory to pick up my race packet?

Yes. Your race packet includes your official race bib, timing tag and safety pins for your bib. You must wear both your timing tag and bib on race day or you will not be allowed on the course. Packets cannot be mailed in advance.

What do I need to bring with me to pick-up my packet?

A current photo ID.

Can a friend pick up my race packet on my behalf?

Yes. Your friend will need a copy of your current Photo ID in order to retrieve your packet.

What if I cannot make it to the Expo during operating hours?

You may pick up your bib, chip, zip ties and safety pins at the start of your respective race up until 30 minutes before your race. Your t-shirt will be available at the Finish Line Festival. Please keep your bib # tear tag to pick-up your t-shirt.

What are Virtual Event Bags?

In order to reduce waste and provide participants with virtual way to interact with our event partners, your event goodie bag will be sent to you the week of the event electronically by Virtual Event Bags to the email we have on file when you registered for the event.

Will there be half marathon pace groups?

Yes. We will have various pace groups for the Half Marathon. A great group of community runners volunteer each year to help you reach your goal. Please check the Half Marathon event page on this website to see the various pace groups.

Will there be awards for top finishers?

Half Marathon
Awards will be given out in the following categories based on official gun time:

  • Overall Male & Female: 1st, 2nd & 3rd
  • Age Groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over
  • Wounded Warrior

Half Marathon Relay
Awards will be given out in the following categories based on official gun time:

  • Top 3 All-Male Teams
  • Top 3 All-Female Teams
  • Top 3 Co-Ed Teams: must contain at least one member of the opposite gender
  • Top 3 Corporate Teams
  • Top 3 Military / Veterans Teams
  • Top 3 Wounded Warrior Teams

Teams may double dip with other award categories. Example: finish in the top 3 Military / Veterans as well as the Co-Ed team. Tie-breakers will be decided by the team's Half Marathon split.

When & where do top finishers receive their awards? 

Top finishers in any of the award categories will receive their awards at the post-race Harvest Celebration as the results are reported. If you are unable to pick-up your award and would like it mailed to you a S&H fee of $7.95 will apply.

What nutrition will be on the course?

There will be ClifShots at miles 9 &19 as well as Fluid Performance Electrolyte drink at miles 3, 6, 8, 11, 15, 18, 20 and 23. Click here to view printable map with water & energy stations.

What are time limits for the races? Can walkers register for the Marathon and the Half marathon?

Walkers are welcome. Time limits due to traffic control for the Marathon are 4 hours or 18:18 minutes per mile. If you are slower than this limit, you will be asked to pull over to the side and follow traffic laws as the course begins to open up to traffic. We will also have a vehicle following at this pace picking up those not able to finish in the allotted time.

Are wheelchairs allowed on the course?

Yes. If you will be participating in a wheelchair, please note this on your entry form. We strongly suggest that wheelchair participants be experienced racers. Please  use the website’s contact form if you are planning to race in a wheelchair, so that we can make appropriate accommodations.

Are baby strollers/joggers or un-registered friends allowed on the course?

No. Baby strollers/joggers, baby carriers, in line skates, bicyclists or un-registered runners are not allowed on the course to ensure the safety for all participants. Wheeled joggers may be exempted from this rule due to health reasons or special circumstances, but MUST be cleared by the race director no less than one month prior to the event.

What are the age requirements?

You must be at least 12 years of age by race day to participate in the Half Marathon.

Are iPods and other music devices allowed on the course?

Yes, earpiece music devices are allowed on the course. If you choose to wear one, please be mindful of the volume of your music and your presence on the course.

Are dogs allowed on the course?

No animals or pets are allowed on the course for the safety of all our participants.

Will there be portable restrooms on the course?

Yes. There will be portable restrooms at the start and finish areas of both races as well as every couple miles along both courses.

Is wearing the timing bib/chip mandatory?

Yes, your timing tag allows for official times to be recorded and accurate calculation of placement.

Where do I drop off my gear bags and where do I pick them up?

There will be an area in the start area with many large numbered boxes. Place your gear bag in the box in your bib number range (ex: you have bib # 100, place your gear bag in the box marked #1-100). We will take your gear bag to the finish where you will pick it up in the drop bag area which will be plainly visible soon after you enter the Harvest Celebration and have picked up your post-race refreshments.
